"come here often?"

I wasn't at the bar the night my friend Taylor met his wife...

But according to her father's speech at their wedding on Saturday, Taylor's opening line was:

"Come here often?"

Many girls would roll their eyes at that line. And I'm sure his wife, Lauren, probably did too.

In fact, I'm sure Taylor probably raised his eyebrows while saying it, then laughed afterwards. Because it was a joke.

He didn't really want to know how often she went to that bar...

He just wanted to talk to her.

And now -- those three simple words ("Come here often?") have snowballed into a lifetime together.

I think the Universe puts life-changing opportunities in front of us more often than we realize.

The problem is that those opportunities often require us to get uncomfortable or risk a little embarrassment.

But if we're willing to do it...

If we're willing to laugh at ourselves and take a few bruises on the chin...

We can turn a little moment into a big deal.
