So I did something a little crazy my sophomore year of college...

(I'm actually not talking about getting trashed. That was freshman year.)

It all started with a decision…

The decision to "get straight up jacked." I mean to "try and put on some muscle."

So I hit the gym a few times per week...

And proceeded to devour everything in sight.

I was eating between 4,000 and 5,000 calories per day — which is NOT as fun as it sounds.

I was practically force-feeding myself.

Each morning, I would wake up and make a 1,200 calorie protein shake that included 2 raw eggs, olive oil, and a hefty scoop of peanut butter.

And just in case one Super Deluxe Monster Shake wasn't enough…

I'd drink another one before bed too.

Well...it worked.

I started the semester around 165 pounds. And over the course of 3.5 months…

I got up to a whopping 202 pounds.

I gained 37 pounds in a single semester.

I was THICC.

I'm happy to report that I am now back to my pre-THICCness weight of 165ish (probably even less now).

But it was a fun experiment. And it was cool to see how big of a change I could make with consistency and dedicated effort.

Which brings me to my point…

Right now, we have a blank canvas.

Our commutes have plummeted to a whopping 0 miles…

Our social lives are mostly virtual — if they exist at all…

And we haven't had this much free time on our hands since we were kids.

So pick a goal...

Put in some consistent and dedicated effort...

And make the most of this season.

Stay THICC, not sick.
